A girl that is described as stern but caring, bubbly, weird and easy going by her peers. A simple, currently 15-year-old high schooler living in Nagsangalan, Vigan City, with her great family and having fun with her amazing friends. And an indecisive, unsure, and doubtful dreamer who needs to fully face reality but continues to push it aside every time.
My name
is Althea A. Paytoc although most people call me ‘Thea’. I like to draw or
practice 2D animation to pass time. Like many others, I am a dreamer,
and I have a dream that I hope will come true someday. I dream to become a
professional 2D animator since it seems fun and all, but I always need to be
constantly reminded about the reality that making your dream come true is hard,
and that applies to my dream as well. And that reminder causes me to have
doubts and be unsure about what I actually want to achieve in the future. That
feeling when you were having fun dreaming about an amazing future and you were
suddenly slapped in the face by reality, and you realize achieving that dream
isn't as easy as you think and that you need to think about it carefully. That
realization just makes everything harder sometimes. But that’s just how it is,
we strive to reach our dreams and goals in life and when we get too “in over
our heads” while doing so, reality will pull us back down to earth, and that’s
a good thing.
“If
you want to make your dream come true, the first thing you have to do is wake
up”- J.M Power. We must wake up and face reality first before trying to make
our dreams come true. After waking up though, it’s up to ourselves to decide if
we will make our dreams reality or just let them be dreams. Some continue
chasing, some let them go and go on a new path. Either way, the only advice I
have is to keep trying, stay positive, aim high and don’t go in over your head.
