DO GOOD AND PROTECT THE YOUTH

Have you ever thought about turning back time to when you were just a young child, when you were having the time of your life just being a kid and wanting to relive your experiences as a child? But of course, many of us would answer yes to this question. It is safe to say that amazing and fun childhood experiences are important in one’s life. Every one of us that are at the age that is considered to be passed a child’s age had childhood experiences, either they were great or not the best experiences in our lives. Those were the times where most of us had little problems to worry about, he times where most of us have a “puppies, rainbows” and innocent mindsets.

The youth are an eventful bunch. To put it simply, they're all distinctive and creative, but they're also ignorant and blind to what's going on around them. They are what we refer to as "vulnerable" to the world's threats. An example of a threat they are very vulnerable to is the COVID-19, so they need to be protected at all costs from the dangerous virus. Although, threats and dangers can occasionally be their own family or anyone they trust. Not all children had or will have a great childhood because of the neglect and abuse they receive from the one’s that they trust and are supposed to be the one’s that help and guide young children like them towards becoming a great person when they grow up. This can be due to an unstable family, insecurities, or the circumstances they are in. But no matter the reason/s may be, it is still a duty for guardians and parents to unconditionally love, support, help, guide, and raise a child well. This is not only for the good of the child but also for the future of our world. As the national hero of the Philippines, Dr. Jose Rizal, said, “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan” translates to “The youth is the hope of the country.”. The youth is the hope of the country. The youth is the hope of the world we are living on. So, guidance and education are essential to a child so that they will be educated and aware of things in our world. And so, they can become amazing people when they’re older.

Children are very curious, may be annoying, pure, innocent, cute, creative, carefree little ones who are oblivious to the world around them. So we must protect, guide, help and educate them with the knowledge we obtained in our life. Protecting and treating a child and their rights is needed if we wish for them to be brilliant and have a great life ahead of them. For they are the hope of the future of earth and mankind.

  4. The youth is the hope of the country indeed. I agree with your point. Without proper protection, guidance, help and education for the next generation, then our future might not be led beneficially.
