FOR THE GOOD OF THE NATION

The Philippines has faced a lot of different challenges that comes its way in the past. Us Filipinos as a whole, in turn also face these kinds of challenges like different disasters or calamities such as, typhoons and earthquakes, and in this moment, the nation is facing the hardships of being in a pandemic. But with every problem we face that causes us to fall, we will always rise back up no matter how hard it is. But there is something that we need to have, and that is discipline.

The government has a lot of corrupt mindsets within it. If they were to have acted sooner, then our situation wouldn’t be as bad as it is now. That’s true yes, although we, the people, are still partially to blame. This is because even though safety protocols are already implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19, some people are hardheaded and stubborn and would still not be careful nor follow the said protocols for theirs and others’ safety, thus the virus spreads faster and cases of COVID-19 positives increase. The lack of discipline amongst Filipino citizens is also affecting our environment, since a lot of us still litter our trash wherever we want instead of throwing them in their respective trash bins. But even if we go through a lot of challenges and lack of discipline makes everything harder, I still think we will still be able to overcome these challenges slowly but surely, one way or another.

In all our lives, we can never avoid the challenges that come our way. This country has and still is experienced numerous challenges in its way. But if we want to move towards a more resilient Philippines, we should have discipline, have high hopes and keep moving forward to bounce back up into our feet after falling. Because it for the future and for the good of our nation.

  1. Sometimes, Filipinos lacks discipline and are hardheaded. The said safety protocols are literally implemented for us to avoid spreading the virus, I agree with that point of yours, yet we Filipinos still continue to be stubborn.
